The GAC Human Rights and International Law Working Group (HRIL WG) focuses on aspects of ICANN’s policies and procedures which relate to human rights and relevant international law.
The HRIL WG was established in February 2015 at ICANN 52 Singapore as an internal working group of ICANN’s Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC).
The GAC endorsed the HRIL WG's terms of reference in March 2016 at ICANN 55 Marrakech.
